From rēwena rolls to cinnamon buns, we deliver handcrafted kai for gatherings of 10 to 300 people across the Wellington region and Lower Hutt CBD.

Rēwena bread is a traditional Māori Sourdough bread, and we are proud to be the only commercial bakery in Wellington to offer this. We have trusted relationships with our local fresh produce market gardeners. Our salads and fruit pots are created with seasonal produce purchased from these markets and growers. We bake our sweet treats in our bakery, all made from scratch without pre-mixed ingredients or preservatives

We offer flexible, end-to-end catering tailored to your needs. Need serving staff? A prep team? Just the food? We can do it all.

Catering options

Our catering menu features a rotating selection of handmade options using seasonal produce and locally sourced ingredients. All items are made from scratch at our Alicetown hole-in-the-wall bakery.

Individual Boxed Meals

Individually packed and ready to go, perfect for meetings, corporate events, or on-the-go functions and can also be served as platters. We proudly offer Vogel’s Gluten Free bread; however, please note that gluten is present in our bakery.

From $20.12 each (min. order 10), options include:

  • Smoked chicken and slaw rēwena bap with orzo pesto and feta salad, fruit pot, and chocolate chip cookie
  • Salami and potato salad rēwena bap with citrus slaw salad, fruit pot, and gingerbread tāne.
  • Vegan beetroot hummus and salad rēwena bap with vegan potato salad, fruit pot, and apple crumble bun
  • Gluten-free ham, mustard, and potato salad sandwich with citrus slaw salad, fruit pot, and date and coconut slice.

Morning, Lunch, Afternoon Tea Spreads

Perfect for shared gatherings or more casual occasions, our morning and afternoon tea options are served platter-style, making them ideal for meetings, celebrations, and events where guests can help themselves.

Unlike our individually packed boxed lunches, these are made to be enjoyed collectively and can be easily customised to suit your group.

Sweet options from $4.50 each (min. order 10), options include:

  • Cinnamon buns, chocolate & Nutella scrolls, apple strudel-style scrolls (vegan), and Blueberry Crumble Scrolls (vegan)
  • Fresh fruit kebabs, Gingerbread Tāne, cookies (GF), and slices (GF).

Savoury options from $4.78 each (min. order 10), options include:

  • Sausage rolls, scrolls, savouries (GF available), frittata slices (GF), and mini savoury scones.

Optional hot food add-ons

Add something warm and hearty to your catering order. Created with a savoury shortcrust pastry, our hot items are perfect for events that call for a little extra comfort.

From $8.12 each (min. order 5 of one flavour), options include:

  • Hāngi Pie (contains chicken, pork, mutton, beef, kumara, potato, pumpkin and stuffing)
  • Slow-roasted pulled pork Pie
  • Chicken, Brie, and Cranberry Pie
  • English Breakfast Pie (contains Bacon, Egg, Sausage, Hashbrown & Baked Beans
  • Creamy Mushroom Pie
  • Macaroni and Cheese Pie

Beverage station

Keep your guests refreshed with our hot and cold drink options. We offer filter coffee, a selection of teas, Milo, and iced beverages—all served with milk (including alternatives), cups, stirrers, and everything needed for easy self-service.

From $5 per person (min. order 10), options include:

  • Filtered Karamu coffee, a selection of Dilmah tea, and hot chocolate
  • Iced tea and iced coffee

How It Works

We cater for groups of 10 people and can scale up to 300 guests, with flexible delivery, platter-style setups, boxed meals, or full-service catering to suit your event.

We operate seven days a week, excluding public holidays.

Service is typically between 8:30 am–3:00 pm, but alternate times can be arranged.

We cater across the Wellington and Lower Hutt CBD.

Need support on-site? We can provide:

  • Waitstaff – $40/hour

  • Function Supervisors – $55/hour

  • Chefs – $55/hour

Please note, all staffing has a 4-hour minimum.

Yes, we provide hot food deliveries (e.g. pies, frittata, buffet), however, there is a minimum spend of $200 (excluding delivery).

We can also provide staff to cook directly on site for full-day events.

We prefer at least seven days’ notice, but can often accommodate shorter timeframes.

Please note, orders made after 12:00 pm the day prior will incur a $25 late order fee.

Looking for something specific? We can tailor menus to suit your kaupapa, dietary requirements, and event format.

Our general terms and conditions for all catering orders are as follows:

  • A 50% deposit is required to confirm all bookings. For large-scale events (over $3,000), a reduced deposit of 10% may apply.

  • The remaining balance is due within 7 days of delivery.

  • All prices are exclusive of GST.

  • A minimum delivery fee of $25 applies to all orders within Wellington and Lower Hutt CBD. Delivery outside of these areas is available and will be quoted based on distance.
  • Final guest numbers must be confirmed 14 days prior to your event.

  • The final invoice may vary from your initial quote to reflect actual numbers, beverage consumption, final staffing hours, or any damages or hired equipment adjustments.

  • We can cater for most dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and allergy-aware options.

  • While we take great care, we cannot guarantee a 100% allergen-free environment (e.g., gluten, nuts, dairy), as these are present in our bakery.

  • Staffing is billed at an hourly rate with a 4-hour minimum; additional hours incurred on the day will be reflected in the final invoice.

  • If an event runs over time due to client delays, additional staffing fees will apply.

  • Due to seasonal availability or supplier issues, we may substitute items with similar alternatives of equal or greater value. We will notify you in advance of any significant changes.
  • Cancellations made more than 14 days prior to the event will receive a full refund of the deposit. Cancellations made within 14 days may result in forfeiture of the deposit, depending on costs already incurred. Cancellations made within 72 hours of the event will be charged 100% of the quoted total to cover preparation, ingredients, and staffing costs.
